Not really a walk but a visit to the hydroelectric plant in San Pable de Buciete as part of Gaucin's semana cultural; very interesting it was, too! A clean and efficient way of generating electricity, the plant was built in 1904 by Swiss engineers. At one time there was a small community of workers and their families living on site; there was even a chapel and school. It now produces in the region of 13,000KW.
