Walk Gaucin

The aim of this blog is simply to record some of the walks that we take in and around Gaucin, Andalucia. The nearby Serrania de Ronda and Parque Natural de los Alcornocales offer wonderfully varied walking terrain from gently rolling hills to rugged mountains and there is a wealth of arquitectural, geological and natural history to discover.

Circular walk from Castellar de la Frontera

Yesterday afternoon we had a 2.5hr walk from Castellar village, through ancient cork oak forests and along the canal that runs from the Guadarranque resevoir to the coast.
