The aim of this blog is simply to record some of the walks that we take in and around Gaucin, Andalucia. The nearby Serrania de Ronda and Parque Natural de los Alcornocales offer wonderfully varied walking terrain from gently rolling hills to rugged mountains and there is a wealth of arquitectural, geological and natural history to discover.

El Hacho, Gaucin
On Sunday 22nd December we walked to the summit of El Hacho via the less steep northern route returning down the more precipitous southern path.
