The aim of this blog is simply to record some of the walks that we take in and around Gaucin, Andalucia. The nearby Serrania de Ronda and Parque Natural de los Alcornocales offer wonderfully varied walking terrain from gently rolling hills to rugged mountains and there is a wealth of arquitectural, geological and natural history to discover.

Cerro Gordo, Cerro de Galgo and Castellar de la Frontera 13, 15 and 17 May 2014
Been away birdwatching in Doñana and Extremadura but back and walking near Gaucin again now.......this week it was another visit to the San Martin de Tesorillo/Castellar area and some fantastic walks in perfect walking weather. The wildflowers have been wonderful, too!
