El Hacho, Gaucin, 15 August 2014

At 0830hrs John, Anna, Sam and I met outside the petrol station in Gaucin to climb to the top of El Hacho. It was quite misty and, thankfully, cool. An hour later we were at the summit and enjoying the views which were a little curtailed due to hazy conditions brought about by the levante wind. Still, it was great to be up there and we had superb views of a Griffon Vulture that flew past several times at a distance of no more than 4m - wonderful!
